In your first therapy session, we will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and your goals for treatment. We will also talk a little bit about your history (at a pace you are comfortable with) and any current symptoms you may be experiencing.

 I provide individual therapy for adults (ages 18 and up). 

I received my MSW degree at New York University School of Social Work. 

As the daughter of immigrant parents, I have a particular interest in issues concerning first and second generation Americans and communities of color. 

I take an integrative approach to my work and do not believe in "one-size-fits-all." There are many excellent tools and methods that are effective, but they need to be applied under the right circumstances. As a therapist, it is important to be nuanced and adaptable, to meet clients where they are at any particular point in their lives.
